We just discovered evidence of the next iPod nano “touch” and or iPod touch 4g. The evidence comes in the form of products that are available for a yet to be disclosed line of devices. The new smaller size of the iPod touch is interesting, what sex do you think this device targets? Which one has generally smaller pockets? This new case is definitely targeted in the direction of bearers of two X chromosomes.

Many will coin terms for this new iDevice; iPod touch nano, or NanoTouch, or just iPT4gn. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow and what the future will hold or this new form of iDevice.
For those of you not interested in losing your screen size for extra pocket space, luckily it looks like a standard size fourth-generation device is also on its way! Both of these new cases seem to confirm the presence of a camera, if not FaceTime ready, forward-facing cameras as well.
These cases are on sale now, in the anticipation of what may be released tomorrow.
Heres the links to these cases for sale: Hard Candy and Amazon.com.

Yesterday, the amazing iDevice developer known as @comex released the highly anticipated port of Flash for Android, finally. “Frash” for all iDevices is here!

Via Gizmodo
Frash can be installed manually, or you may use a packaged version brought to you by BenM.at. Yes, the same source that brought you the AT&T tethering settings for iPhone 3GS a year ago.

Developer @notcom has been hard at work updating Tiny Umbrella to work for every SHSH controlled device. Since iPhone 4 has been released, he has already updated it more than 10 times… Now that Apple has implemented a soft-blob for older devices, anyone running iOS 4 or greater should use this software!
Update: iOS 4.1 was released today, 9/8/2010 and the newest version of Tiny Umbrella now supports iOS 4.1 and also includes a new feature. Tiny Umbrella can now prevent baseband updates if you decide to update to 4.1 today and want to be able to downgrade or jailbreak in the future and use Ultrasn0w to unlock your device. The iPhone Dev Team has already warned to prevent a baseband update at all costs (if you care at all about the unlock) until a solution is found. Let the cat and mouse game continue. Hopefully, a jailbreak for 4.1 comes very soon.

Make sure you have the most current version. Right now it is 4.1.2. Ironing out all the kinks, including developing for iPhone 4, must be a real challenge. In his own words, commenting on all the updates, notcom says;
Well that was fun…

As you guys know, September is usually the month when they release a new iPod Touch model. There are pictures on the web that show a “Prototype” with a camera on the the back next to the antenna. I Photoshopped my idea of the next iPod Touch. This is the original press photo of the iPhone 4, modified to look like an iPod touch

iPod touch 4g?
I personally think that Apple would sell more next generation iPods if it includes a forward facing camera just like the iPhone 4 and makes use of the FaceTime feature for video calls with other iPhones and iPods. Right now, the iPhone 4 can only use FaceTime through wifi and the iPod only has wifi. This seems like a logical addition to the product and a great way to increase sales through promoting free communication between iDevice users.

Many already know that @comex released a Mobile Safari based jailbreak. This new Jailbreak works for all devices on the current firmware. (3.2.1, 4.0, 4.0.1)

The jailbreak is just as simple as Blackra1n or Spirit, with only one action required by the user. You simply visit the site and “slide to jailbreak” then just sit back and let it work it’s magic. I Skyped iYoshiblog team member @xsn0w soon after the release and he answered with a very happy tone,
“I am Jailbroken”
He jailbroke his iPhone 4 with this method immediately following the release, and was relieved he could finally get his tweaks and themes back in use. He confirms that this solution works extremely well on an iPhone 4. Read more for more information and full instructions on how to use this method to jailbreak iOS 4.

As many of you guys know, Apple released iTunes 10 September 1, 2010 arround midnight. The new feature in iTunes 10 is pretty much Ping. Ping is a “New” Social network for music and is on your iDevice and Computer. I found a “mod” that brings the colors back to normal. Click read more for pictures and instructions.

Earlier Today Apple released iPhone Os 4.0.2 and iPad 3.2.2. Sadly this means apple blocked the PDF Exploit that Jailbreak Me used. Luckily though someone has already been working on a exploit that exists in 4.1 Beta 2, This means hopefully this firmware or the firmware after it will be patched.
I will be guessing that the next jailbroken firmware will be when 4.0 is released for the iPad. If it ever comes out this fall. So I wouldn’t even dare update since there was already a Patch that you could install once jailbroken. With the patch installed you have 4.0.2 patched voila.
