As many of you guys know, Apple released iTunes 10 September 1, 2010 arround midnight. The new feature in iTunes 10 is pretty much Ping. Earlier Today Apple released iPhone Os 4.0.2 and iPad 3.2.2. Sadly this means apple blocked the PDF Exploit that Jailbreak Me used. Luckily though someone has already been working on a exploit that exists in 4.1 Beta 2, This means hopefully this firmware or the firmware after it will be patched.
I will be guessing that the next jailbroken firmware will be when 4.0 is released for the iPad. If it ever comes out this fall. So I wouldn’t even dare update since there was already a Patch that you could install once jailbroken. With the patch installed you have 4.0.2 patched voila.

Apple warned today that it may deny service to Jailbroken devices, because it is a violation of the end user license agreement.

Razorianfly.com jokingly reported today that Apple may “brick” user devices. This is simply not the case. Apple is asking for a battle and a huge backlash from the growing (exponentially) jailbreak community. It also cannot shut the phone part of the device down because ATT would be forced to get involved and it would damage the customer relationship. Does this statement even say that the Apple specific iPhone services such as FaceTime and MobileMe may be shut down?
It is also important to note that unauthorized modification of the iOS is a violation of the Phone end-user license agreement and because of this, Apple may deny service for an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that has installed any unauthorized software.
