Earlier Today Apple released iPhone Os 4.0.2 and iPad 3.2.2. Sadly this means apple blocked the PDF Exploit that Jailbreak Me used. Luckily though someone has already been working on a exploit that exists in 4.1 Beta 2, This means hopefully this firmware or the firmware after it will be patched.
I will be guessing that the next jailbroken firmware will be when 4.0 is released for the iPad. If it ever comes out this fall. So I wouldn’t even dare update since there was already a Patch that you could install once jailbroken. With the patch installed you have 4.0.2 patched voila.

iFile v1.2.0-1 crashes and blacks out on iOS 4. Here’s a strange tip to fix that.

I have been trying to get iFile running on my iPod touch 2g ever since I installed iOS 4. I did some research and found the weirdest fix ever to get an incompatible version working. According to Jaxov, if you have iFile 1.2.0-1, this is the fix for you. Even if you have iFile 1.3.0, this tipĀ should work. Read more…
Skype finally got an update today that allows backgrounding, incoming calls and pushes chat notifications much more reliably.

This anticipated update does not include video calling support and I actually believe this is due to Apple not approving it. This may be a holdover update until the long awaited feature becomes available. Fring’s implementation of Skype API for video chat was shaky and it may be that Skype wants to release it with smoothness comparable to FaceTime.
Whatever the holdup may be on video calls, I can wait because I can at least use Skype on my iPhone 4 now!
